Dear future generations,

This is the time where we make a difference. Climate change will no longer fix itself. Rising sea levels, warming oceans, polluted skies – they are all wake up calls for our generation. It is our responsibility to start now, otherwise, what will be left to write to? Attitudes are changing, people are realising the importance of our Earth’s resources, and together, we can make a difference.

More Messages to the Future

Dear my future child,

I promise you, I am going to do everything I can to save this planet for you. I won’t let you down, I swear.

Dear future Michelle,

As consumers, it is our duty to protest and force companies to be greener and avoid environmental damage, whether they are from the food industry or from any other production industry. It’s about time we start thinking greener.

Anya,

All you can do is your best. You can encourage the same in others. You can admit your mistakes and those of your ancestors. You can learn from them, and help however you can. I’ll do the same. I promise.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ditch all the natural gas and go all electric with my home!

Dear Tomorrow

I promise to encourage myself and others to recycle more.

Dear Tomorrow,

The road I learned to ride my bike on, the field where I kicked my first soccer ball, and the park I ate my first ice cream cone at, could all be gone.

My dearest children Ameilia and Alivia,

I want you to hear the whispers of the seasons changing. The rustling of leaves as they gracefully cascade down from their limbs in the fall, birds singing in spring, and frogs that serenade the summer night.

dear tomorrow,

I hope that the state of the environment becomes a part of everyday discourse.

Dear Son,

I hope with effective action to combat this climate change will we have a better world in the future.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to pick up trash at every beach I visit, use metal straws, take quick showers.

Dear Lucy,

The clock ticks, time passes, and the earth and all of its inhabitants move closer to dangerous boundaries we can dimly discern but cannot see clearly.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to eat less meat.
