Dear

DearTomorrow is joining the TED Countdown Summit 2023 in Detroit from July 11-14.

This global initiative is committed to accelerating solutions to the climate crisis and we are thrilled to be recognized as an organization doing just that at the intersection of climate, art and storytelling.

DearTomorrow will be taking our interactive exhibit to the summit, and we want our exhibition to reflect how the people of Detroit are feeling and responding to the climate crisis. Letters from Detroiters will be featured alongside our collection of letters and stories from around the world.

CALLING ALL DETROITERS

Whether you are a student, writer, organizer, teacher, engaged community member, artist, concerned citizen, we invite you to submit your DearTomorrow letter to the future:

How to write and submit your letter and get involved:

Imagine someone you love (your child, family, or future self) living in the year 2050 opening a letter you wrote today about the climate crisis. What will you say to them?

Reflect upon how you feel about the climate crisis. Your hopes. Dreams. Actions. Positive visions for the future and climate promises of how we can get there.

And share those thoughts in a DearTomorrow letter.

Submit your letter here.

Or share your letter (or artwork) on social media, tag us: @DearTomorrow #DearDetroit

We will add all submissions to our online archive at DearTomorrow.org. And a selection will be included in our exhibit at TED Countdown in Detroit and shared on Instagram.
