dear future,

I am afraid of what the future holds, so from today on, I will try my hardest to use reusable products instead of single use and I will spread this message to family members and friends. I will also try to avoid using my car and walk and bike often.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Ezmae,

As I write this, I consider giving up as it sometimes seems that all is lost. But then I think of you.

A love letter to my son

I hope this year is a real turning point and by the time you’re a teenager, your life is powered almost entirely by clean energy like solar and wind.

Dear Daughter,

Tonight at bedtime, you asked, seemingly out of nowhere, “why are the glaciers disappearing?”

Dear future child whatever your name is,

Climate change right now is really bad, I’m writing this during the COP26 conference in Glasgow (which is an hour away) and I’m listening to politicians talking about promises for the future. “If we fail, future generations will never forgive us.” -Boris Johnson

To all the people here on earth,

Who knows what the future would look like? or what will happened in the future? No one knows right? That’s why it it’s scary because we don’t know what lies ahead. We couldn’t stop the future but we can always change it.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to turn old shirts into produce bags.

Dear Tara,

Each of us only has so much power and the problem is HUGE, but I worked at this every day.

Dear Ellis,

So, dear heart, I am doing everything I can as the situation worsens.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to never use a plastic straw.

To the Future Generations,

I look at my baby niece today. The newest member of our family, just 3 days old. What will be left for her and her grandchildren?

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to try to set up crowd funding for grants to people with realistic proposals to fight climate change.

Dear Future Me,

I hope that when we look back on these years,  you’ll see that humanity can be good. That we joined together and fixed it because of we don’t, who will?
