Dear tomorrow,

When you receive this, the planet will be saved, people will be happy and flowers will bloom. The blue sky will no longer be grey, and the bleak clouds will be vibrant. The once many worries will be isolated to only one worry about happiness and health. So, dear tomorrow I hope you are excited, dear tomorrow I hope you can’t wait, because dear tomorrow, this is the tomorrow we will create.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

No plastic straws, no water bottles, shop local, no meat.

To My Future Nephews,

I want you to see those corn fields in the north, the beautiful beaches down in Florida, and the stars in the woods at night.

Dear Future Self,

It was 2020, the year I realized that life is fragile—not just mine, but the entire planet—through immense consumption, pollution, greediness, ignorance, false bliss. This wasn’t the way I wanted to live my life, so I promise to actively make the change.

Dear Tomorrow,

My climate promise is to reduce electricity at home. I will turn off the TV and lights when I’m not in the room.

Oh My Lovely Faizan,

I love you my son. You are waking up now. Hopefully tomorrow, more of us will, too.

To our sweet grandson Caleb,

We want a safe and beautiful world for you, little Caleb, and for your children and grandchildren. We promise to do our part.

Dear Tanuj,

The time has come to question ourselves as citizens about our own actions and the legacy we are leaving behind.

To my sons,

I’m voting with climate change as a top priority. I’ve tried to teach you boys that we need to clean up after ourselves and take care of the earth. I promise to continue doing these actions and more, for your sake.

Dear You Tomorrow,

What we failed to do, at least early on, was to see how important it was to put those solutions together. To combine into a way forward.

To you, my dear!

In 2050, I will still be fighting against climate change. I feel that it’s not only my duty, but rather my destiny.

I will recycle stuff I found.

Loved One,

That we all have a role to play no matter how small, we all can make a difference.
