Dear family,

I hope you live in a world where the environment and climate change is no longer a pressing concern. I hope the inventors of the world have developed a new way to be human without taking from the natural world we live in. I hope your generation has figured it out by realizing that it is not ‘humans vs the world’. That humans are part of the world and we need to work for the silent planet.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Future Self,

I am scared of the things happening right now with our planet.

Dear Malasher and Alex,

My goal was to help you grow into better citizens of our planet; to help you care about our natural world and to make everyday choices that reflect concern for our beautiful earth and our own health as well as encourage you to work together to make changes in our community.

Our Shared Promise

I will act today so you may have a healthy earth to live on.

To my unborn children, hey it’s mummy Cris here!

I am witnessing climate change in a way that I do not like, and I do not know how can I stop it.

Dear Daughter,

I want you to be prepared for the world that the generations before you are creating for you. I love you Lucienne, and I will not give up. I will push you and teach you not to give up, either, even if others around you do.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to only use metal straws and reusable cups.

Dear Tomorrow,

I will stop using plastic and will plant trees. I will also not waste water and electricity.

Dear Peyton and Lucas,

I want you to continue to enjoy bright, beautiful, blue skies, gigantic shady trees, chirping birds, scampering squirrels, sparkling creeks and all that this amazing world has to offer!

Dear Tara,

I am sitting in a classroom thinking about you. Which is rare for me. I hope that our family has taken some initiative to do something about changing society instead of building robots and large houses.

Dear 2050,

Our planet is crazy. I pledge to be an innovator to make sustainable living real.
