Dear children,

Hi lovelies,

How is your day going? I promise to keep fighting for a better world for you and your children, and for all of us. It is possible, the planet has so many gifts and abundance. There are many creatures and beings that understand how to live in balance, and we forgot for a while, but we are beginning a slow remembering. I hope it is not too late.

Love you to all the stars and back,
Rachel

More Messages to the Future

I won’t leave my lights on.

Dear Sinchi,

The world is changing and it is happening fast.

To my Children,

As you look through your window, I hope you will see a bright future. I hope you dream big, and that you have the courage, drive, and fortitude to do everything you can to achieve those dreams.

Dear Tomorrow,

I feel optimistic for you, tomorrow. I can feel a shift happening already.

To my future children,

It’s not enough to just recycle. I will sign petitions and call my local representatives. I will also engage in conversations about climate change – even with people with whom I don’t see eye-to-eye.

Dear Jackson,

I feel deeply that it is my moral obligation as your Mom to protect your future and allow you to inherit a clean and healthy planet.

Dear Spike, Loulou and Yoshua,

I’m going to start a campaign to try to convince everybody in the Netherlands to not eat meat one day a week.

Dear future me,

I’m doing this work because I see it as the best way to save and improve as many lives as possible. I’m doing it so you, 2050 Ryan, can look at yourself in the mirror. And so you can tell your kids and grandkids someday that you did everything you could.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to try to set up crowd funding for grants to people with realistic proposals to fight climate change.

dear tomorrow,

I hope that the state of the environment becomes a part of everyday discourse.

Dear future Child or Grandchild,

Climate is undeniably changing but it is not top priority.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to contact my local officials on passing measures against climate change
