Dear Grandchildren,

Today we are in a pandemic where the people are required to shelter in place and many people lost their jobs/businesses. Because people are staying inside in parts of the world there is less pollution and water looks more clear. Today we see all the issues with climate change and making many changes to fix it. We promise to do what we can to fix the issue but we hope that our hard work continues in to your generation.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Kiya,

Fighting for a system that rewards care for people and planet over profit.

Caro me stesso,

Non so dove e con chi sarò nel 2050, spero che sia un anno migliore di quello appena passato .

Dear Future

My hope is for all who live in your time to still know the joy of swimming in the ocean, walking through the woods, and hiking in the mountains.

To my future children,

It’s not enough to just recycle. I will sign petitions and call my local representatives. I will also engage in conversations about climate change – even with people with whom I don’t see eye-to-eye.

Dear son,

Everyone should be grow at least 100 trees in his lifetime.

Dear Beloved Children,

As time progresses, there is hope that value will be placed on all living organisms, including humans, plants, and animals. Life will move at a slower pace, and being on your own time and moving at your individual pace will be the typical way of life. I consider this way of life good living, and I hope that future generations will live on this earth as it was once intended to live in peace and harmony.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to change the culture of my school.

To my dearest Gabriel,

What gives me hope is what is yet to come, what you will experience in your lifetime.

Dear Chay and Kate,

Don’t ever let anyone tell you your actions don’t matter. Every single thing you do matters. You matter.

Dear Levon,

I hope, as your father, I’ve done enough to instill within you how science is a wonderful adventure.

Dear Tomorrow,

I will stop using plastic and will plant trees. I will also not waste water and electricity.

Dear Elliott,

We’re moving into uncertain times, and your dad and I worry. A lot. But you’re keeping us going. You’re pushing us to make better choices and not give up.
