Dear future self,

I am glade to be doing english and western riding, and that i found many riding activities that i love doing.

My hopes for the future are to own at least 2-3 horses and to be able to do the horse activities on my own.

My promise wood be to the horses when i get my own, and it would be that i would give them a safe and loving home where they would be taken care of with the right amount of exercise with enough outside time.

My thoughts on climate change are that as the population grows in our planet farmers are forced to produce more food which then means using faster ways to grow including using pesticides, antibiotics, and artificial fertilizer. These recourses are not only bad for us but the environment. These also create climate change in ways of pollution and greenhouse gasses being released by the animals.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Anabelle and Bruce,

My desire is for clean air, clean water, rich soil, and healthy nutritious food for you and all children always everywhere.

To My Children,

Is the world really polluted?

Dear Sadie,

You are young and have a rich future ahead of you. I am retired and aiming for a high quality of cultural life and comfort with whatever time remains to me. I do not want to see a world whose elders sacrifice your future for their short-term needs and personal gain. So it’s up to you and me to speak out.

Dear Leo,

Last week I took you to protest the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Dear Kids of the Future,

My wish for all of you is that the people of the present wake up and are able to change their habits.

To our sweet grandson Caleb,

We want a safe and beautiful world for you, little Caleb, and for your children and grandchildren. We promise to do our part.

Dear Tomorrow,

Be the person who shows up. Be the person who continues to advocate for change because change is possible – it is possible in the most partisan of politics.

Dear child,

The journey of humanity does not take us to Mars like the world now likes to believe. It takes us home to our true self where there is no separate self. Where we are all one. You know all this. Look after yourself my child, look after your brother, your friends, your children, all the animals and the whole planet. Love them like there is no tomorrow.

Anya,

All you can do is your best. You can encourage the same in others. You can admit your mistakes and those of your ancestors. You can learn from them, and help however you can. I’ll do the same. I promise.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to never use a plastic straw.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to change the culture of my school.
