Dear child,

Today is the 6th of march a rainy day here in Quinzano, I’m writing this letter because in these days climate trouble is not an easy problem to solve… I watched “Before the Flood” a terrific documentary  where Leo DiCaprio tried to aware ourselves about the pollution, about the global overheating, about the selfishness of men… I really hope that this selfishness could be almost defeated in your time… This have always been the real problem of the world, the mother of all problem that has almost destroyed our beloved Earth…

However I think that the awareness of men is growing more an more everyday! I’m trying to be a better person for YOU! For a better world! For a better Earth! I’ d really really really like to share my life with you a better place!

Daddy 😉

More Messages to the Future

My darling Cassidy,

I know I need to write this to you, and I don’t want to because it makes me so sad. I have been desperately avoiding my feelings about climate change, for many years, but especially and with greater intensity every year since you were born.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to only use metal straws and reusable cups.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will convince my family to switch their gas appliances to electric.

Dear humankind of today and tomorrow,

I do wish to contribute as much as I can, maybe even start a ripple effect, where other people will start taking action too and inspire other people too.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to purchase carbon offsets when we fly.

Dear Ellis,

So, dear heart, I am doing everything I can as the situation worsens.

To my beloved granddaughters, Margaret and Caroline,

Growing up in Germany, I often wondered what my parents had done to oppose the Nazi regime in the 1930’s that led to WWII.  I was so disappointed when I found out how passive they had been. For me, this was formative.

Dear Future Me,

I hope that when we look back on these years,  you’ll see that humanity can be good. That we joined together and fixed it because of we don’t, who will?

Dear Nova and Remi,

I wish for you both that another kind of life has been discovered, one of peace, moderation and concern for all life.

Dear Devon and Chloe

I hope that my work helping to make your schools more sustainable will be something you carry on as you grow older.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will encourage everyone to get OUT of their cars and onto public transit.

Dear residents of Bedminster, Bristol UK,

We hope we did enough
