Queridas crianças do mundo inteiro,

Queridas crianças do mundo inteiro!

Somos alunos e alunas da Escola Municipal Engenheiro Umberto Gondin e desejamos que ao ler essa mensagem, o mundo ainda seja um lugar legal, com água, árvores, paz e tranquilidade entre as pessoas.

Estamos no ano de 2015 e a nossa escola está realizando um Projeto chamado “Água pra quê? Pra viver!”. Nosso objetivo é evitar a poluição, principalmente da água. Estamos coletando óleo de cozinha usado e enviando a uma empresa que o transformará em sabão que, ao comercializá-lo, o resultado das vendas será revertido em ajuda para um hospital infantil da nossa cidade (IMIP). Coletando o óleo das frituras, estaremos evitando que ele seja jogado nas águas que circundam nosso bairro, Brasília Teimosa, na cidade de Recife- PE – Brasil. Como vocês podem ver na foto, ele é cercado por rio e mar, por isso estamos tentando mostrar para as pessoas que vivem aqui a necessidade de cuidarmos das nossas águas.

Esperamos que o resultado desta ação sirva para deixar o mundo melhor, menos poluído e mais agradável para viver.

will continue championing land preservation and the restoration of woodland, prairie and wetland habitats. I will not stop advocating for “bird friendly” legislation to make cities safer for your passage.
 

Dear Thomas,

When you look at me with those big beautiful eyes and that innocent smile, you make me want to fight harder. And I do.
 

To the future generations,

I hope that you all can enjoy the Smokey Mountains in your lifetime too and that they look how they did back in 2017 when I saw them.
 

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise composting in my house and getting an EV for my first car.
 

Dear Tomorrow,

I’ll buy only food that I plan to eat before it spoils.
 

Dear Alba:

There is still a lot of beauty and I will do what I can to keep it from slipping away.
 

To earth & its inhabitants,

Its been heavy on my shoulders since I found out about the state of climate woes as a child.
