To whom it may concern,

It’s my hope that our planet does not now resemble a world from an apocalyptic work of fiction. Moreover, I’d like to know that our modes of transportation are not poisoning the air that we breathe, and that our food is more or less what it claims to be. Humanity has incited an explosion of ability and progress in the last few hundred years alone. I can only imagine the level of connectedness exists between all people of Earth (and elsewhere?). However we have done so in a very human fashion- without foresight. Whether it is a cynical understanding of the brevity of our own lives, or our avoidance of making hard decisions that only provide reward in the distance, we have been very bad housekeepers. Will continuous ingenuity save us from our own mass-extinction? Or will the human race take the place of all the ancient life that we burned along the way. I believe the former to be more likely, but we would be foolish to doubt our own vulnerability. Life is precious- let’s have fun, but understand what we and our toys are capable of.

More Messages to the Future

To My Children,

Is the world really polluted?

I want to tell you a story. Yes, another one.

Mankind has always been able to deal with the greatest challenges it’s faced and this will not be the exception. My message to you is: find that passion and give it your all. ‘Till your legs give out.

Dear kids of America,

Please eliminate plastic everything

Dear Tomorrow,

I will stop using plastic and will plant trees. I will also not waste water and electricity.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to only use metal straws and reusable cups.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to use my reusable water bottle more often

Dear little one,

In the coming months, we plan to complete a full assessment of our environmental impact online. We hope to discover our biggest areas of resource consumption, learn what we can do better, and create an action plan to improve over the next year.

Dear Tomorrow,

My climate promise is to use a refillable bottle, bring my own resusable spoon/form wherever I go, use clean personal care products (without chemicals).

Dear Tomorrow,

I will aim to lower my carbon footprint!

dear future children,

As I write this, our world is slowly giving way to climate change.

Dear Tomorrow,

My promise is to continue to dedicate my life, my business, and my future to creating cultures that embrace environmental action not only for our own good, but the good of the countless other species hurting from climate change.

AMORI MIEI EMMA DOMINGA E MAMMA AURELIE
