To the Future,

Your future depends on the results of that of my and all generations of this point on. I hope that this will result in that of those who care and those who change the world for the better. We as a people need to work together to fix what needs to be fixed. That our job is to lay the foundations and pave the way for us to save the planet, and that the rest is in our hands. We would do anything to skip out on that which we think to be unbearable or not worth it at the moment, but the is the largest flaw within our society. WE need to works together toward the betterment of the world and the expectations of the future. We need to congregate and congratulate on the succeses of our past selves but that doesn’t come without response. WE need to respond with a drive and a passion for living. Not only for surviving but for living. Those who don’t believe in this must see that they are the ones who are wrong and that they are the ones who need to change along with our participation of the health of our world. If this doesn’t make it you y’all that is because we as a people didn’t realize and didn’t pour our hearts and soles into the problems of our sources of life.

More Messages to the Future

My Dear Grandchildren,

In writing this letter to you, I am searching for ways to make my connection and commitment to you more present in my current experience

Dear Spike, Loulou and Yoshua,

I’m going to start a campaign to try to convince everybody in the Netherlands to not eat meat one day a week.

Dear children,

Despite all the difficulties, we are from a family whose principles are honesty and love for others, and that’s what I want to share with you.

Dear Tomorrow,

Don’t use plastic straws!

To my future children,

It’s not enough to just recycle. I will sign petitions and call my local representatives. I will also engage in conversations about climate change – even with people with whom I don’t see eye-to-eye.

Dear Lincoln,

I wanted to let you know that in 2019 that there were real struggles with the health of our planet.

To My Children,

Is the world really polluted?

Dear Future Generations,

Dear Future Generations,

I pledge to use less plastic.

Dear Tomorrow,

Awareness is key. Learning about this issue can seem like a small effort compared to other actions, but it’s the most important.

Dear Rowan and Anaka,

If we could talk, I would not be able to bear your gaze as you ask: How could you, the people in a position to change the course of climate change, fail to act?

Future Message to Earth,

Hope there will be no more droughts,
And no more pollution with which we fought,
Regarding every human should be taught,
Ensuring that we uniformly follow these thoughts.
