To Future Me,

I hope by now you’ve figured out what to do with your life, and if not, that’s cool too. This is just a reminder from your past reminding you what it’s like to live in a world that is trying to save the world from climate change. It’s all anyone can think about, it’s on every news article, in every lecture. hopefully wherever you are now, change is being made.

More Messages to the Future

Son,

Make the most of every day because remember yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift.

Dear Nolan, Patrick, Cullen and Gabriel,

This Mother’s Day I am again thinking of my grandsons future and what I am doing to change the world if only by a small fraction.

dear me in 2030,

I am smelling burning plastic!

Dear my future family,

I will promise to help climate change as much as I can.

Dear next generation,

I hope that by the time you’re reading this, things have changed and people have started to protect the earth

To My Future Nephews,

I want you to see those corn fields in the north, the beautiful beaches down in Florida, and the stars in the woods at night.

Dear Maret,

Right now I want to be hopeful. Right now I want to think that we took action to ensure this beautiful future for you.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ditch all the natural gas and go all electric with my home!

Dear Tomorrow,

Be the person who shows up. Be the person who continues to advocate for change because change is possible – it is possible in the most partisan of politics.

Dear old dude Mårten,

I know that the 2019 version of me (today that is) wished and hoped for that I did all within my power to turn the world around without loosing sight on the beauty of being alive.

Dear Tanuj,

The time has come to question ourselves as citizens about our own actions and the legacy we are leaving behind.
