Dear Future Me,

I hope the planet was saved by people who stood by its side and let the planet’s resources thrive rather than leaving it to wallow in the sorrows of climate change that humans brought onto it. I also hope that we make it to 2050 and get to explore more of this beautiful planet that we call home. We need to make a change and it needs to start today!

More Messages to the Future

dear future people (:

I hope that people are still enjoying the wonders that nature has to offer.

Dear Tomorrow,

I am so sorry we didn’t realize this predicament sooner.

Dear old dude Mårten,

I know that the 2019 version of me (today that is) wished and hoped for that I did all within my power to turn the world around without loosing sight on the beauty of being alive.

To my precious children

I want clean air, clean energy and muddy feet for you. I want this for all children.

To my brother’s children,

We wondered about how we might be able to eliminate plastics from our day to day routines, and recycled literally everything. We were amazing, you should have seen us. Now and again though, we wondered if these were the right questions.

Dear Future Cassie,

I promise to be successful and help save the environment.

Querido amanhã,

Sempre é bom ajudar a natureza.

Pick up your trash wherever you go!

Dear Future,

“I knew you would want to know how the future turned out. You got so anxious about climate change as we grew older.  By coming back, I thought I could help you with that.”

dear tomorrow,

I hope that the state of the environment becomes a part of everyday discourse.

Dear X—, Dear A—,

As with our struggles to eliminate police brutality, as with hate crimes, so it is with climate change – there are actually a lot of people out there who care.

To my wide-eyed warrioresses,

Since my two daughters emerged into this world, all of my tomorrows have become more dear.
