Dear fantastic,

This is me and Aliyah-Blu, my beautiful rescued baby pit! 🙂

We pledge to reduce our un-renewable footprint on this earth.

I have been struggling with a near vegan diet lately and its about time I switched over completely. In addition my car will be going out on me soon and I really am looking into an electric car but may settle for riding my bike for a while beforehand to save the money!
This world and everything in it can be so precious that it is crucial to preserve the naturalness within it. Who really likes oil anyway? All consumers care is that they can get from point A to B, besides car enthusiasts who can convert to methane to keep things clean!

We as the human race are smarter than this struggle at hand and need to rise above large corporate interests and confusion on this topic.

Save the people, the rascals (animals) who have no say, and the planet.

I will spread the knowledge in anyway possible and hopefully dedicate my life/career to reversing our ways now!

Love & Peace

More Messages to the Future

Dear Gabriel,

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” – The Lorax

I won’t leave my lights on.

Dear old dude Mårten,

I know that the 2019 version of me (today that is) wished and hoped for that I did all within my power to turn the world around without loosing sight on the beauty of being alive.

To My Daughter and Future Grandchildren,

There are so many more things that we can do together to help our Earth from the damage that has been done, and I am so excited to teach you.

My future husband,

I want us to read this in future time and remember all the senses and views we witnessed.

Dear Tomorrow,

No plastic straws, no water bottles, shop local, no meat.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ride a bike and take a smart train.

Dear Rosie,

But when you are reading this years from now, by the light of a solar powered lamp, know that your dad, mom and millions of others who burned brightly with love for our kids did what we could, when we knew the stakes.

Dear Samuel, Willa, and Ben,

To the core of my being, and only through the power of community, I will honor the voices of the youth who are pleading, “Don’t burn my future.” Samuel, Willa, and Ben, your little voices I know, will join that chorus soon enough.

Dear Future Grandchild,

We can learn a lot about how to treat others from stories that have been passed from generation to generation.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will take short showers, eat less meat, and buy local more often.

Dear Tomorrow,

I’m not allowed to talk about climate change around family; as my mom warned me, “climate change is not something that people think about in Mississippi.” But I’m worried for my family’s future.
