Dear Brothers & Sisters All Across Mother Earth,

I promise to wholeheartedly live my life with an awareness of my personal impact on our communities and our planet, and to commit my voice and energy to ensuring that the soft breeze that kisses your face is clean and clear, that the water you drink is safe and pure, and that you have access to wild beauty that inspires and motivates our ongoing evolution toward an inclusive and regenerative existence on this planet.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Lucy,

The clock ticks, time passes, and the earth and all of its inhabitants move closer to dangerous boundaries we can dimly discern but cannot see clearly.

Hola Cariño,

Life is not easier being a believer but I would not have picked another path. Thanks to my Faith I found my passion to work to stop climate change for your future. Now go play outside and breathe clean air. Dios te bendiga.

Dear Children and Grandchildren,

I see a world full of hope fueled by the desire for change.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to clean the earth.

My Dear Grandchildren,

In writing this letter to you, I am searching for ways to make my connection and commitment to you more present in my current experience

Dear Kiya,

Fighting for a system that rewards care for people and planet over profit.

Dear Tomorrow,

We want to let others know about how to fight climate crisis.

To my great-great grandchildren,

I don’t know your name
or even if you’re alive,
but I’m doing all I can
to make sure you survive.

I’m your great- great grandmother
who lived a century ago
in a world far different
from the one you must know.

Dear Soren,

In this world that is changing before our eyes, I believe that is our task: standing unflinchingly on the side of love, connecting with others, and forging ahead together.

Dear Future Grandchildren,

I hope I can look you in the eye and tell you I honestly did everything I could to protect our planet.

Dear June and Colin,

I’m sad and angry that collectively more has not been done to this date. And that still with such dire warnings, obvious impacts, those in power are acting far too slowly.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to switch from “light” to “deep” green.
