Future Self & Ka’iulani,

We promise to reduce the amount of carbon we use on a daily basis. We will not support any company that uses palm oil in their products from this day on. We will reduce, reuse & recycle as many items possible. We will reduce the amount of dairy and beef products we intake daily to reduce methane in our environment. ALOHA ‘ĀINA

In order for you two be happy and healthy, we all need to work hard to prevent climate change.

A love letter to my son

I hope this year is a real turning point and by the time you’re a teenager, your life is powered almost entirely by clean energy like solar and wind.

To my Children,

And to make sure that you know the true value of what you can see but not own.

My promise is to work to protest carbon emissions.

Dear People Of The Future,

It’s scary, this is the stuff you see in movies about the end of the world.

To my children,

I am working with 350.org on shutting down the coal and unconventional gas industries in our country because I cannot think of a more direct way to protect you, the food, water and biodiversity we all love and rely on.

Crianças (Hoje não mais)

Quero mudar meus consumos, direcionar os que têm maior força para fazer diferente, votar em políticas com projetos que visem a mudanças climáticas.

Dear Josh, LeeAnn, & Jessica,

I am very proud to know that You will treat Our Earth, Our Natural Gift, Our Playful Backyard with the same Awesome Respect that We give to each other, as a Family – Knowing that Our Earth, is Your Child Now.

Dear San Bernardino Nat’l Forest Bears,

I’ll keep the trees on my property so you have a place to hide and climb.

Dear Abigail and Olivia,

What stories will you tell them about our generation? Will we be heroes or villains?

Dear Future Me,

In this moment, November of 2018, past you is worried about a few things: finals week, what will happen after graduation, how the Holidays at home will go, and how I am going to be affecting the future.
