To All Who May Be Reading,

I have always been inspired by people who are naturally good in this world- doing their part in fighting for what they believe in and for our planet. They band together to pockets of positivity and build networks of authenticity, compassion and good in the world. I hope that if you’re reading you are aware that our world is ever changing, and it will be a constant effort. I hope you do your part not because you “have to or else..” but because you intrinsically care about the preservation of the wild and it’s interface with our inevitably growing infrastructure. I hope that you and I are a part of the future solution and we inspire others to understand conservation, preservation and rehabilitation of the world around us. The road ahead will always be long but together we can make it one step at a time.

More Messages to the Future

Dear friends,

Rather than exploit it, destroy it, poison it, why don’t we just enhance the beauty of it, guard it, and love it?

Dear Gabriel,

When the worst consequences of climate change still feel far away today, or the barriers to acting on climate change seem steep today, I do not think about today. I think about you, and your world when you are my age.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to only use metal straws and reusable cups.

To my Maria and her children,

I have to tell you something: it is so hard to keep our life “green” for now, but we still keep trying.

Dear Eleanor,

Send new updated messages to your loved ones at DearTomorrow

Dear June and Colin,

I’m sad and angry that collectively more has not been done to this date. And that still with such dire warnings, obvious impacts, those in power are acting far too slowly.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will do everything I can to help fight against climate change.

Dear Child,

Hope we get to have that snowball fight I always dreamed we’d have.

Dear Emilia and Tommy,

We, in our time, still have the chance to change course. We have the knowledge and emergent means, even the profitable technologies, to do so.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to pick up trash at every beach I visit, use metal straws, take quick showers.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to turn old shirts into produce bags.

To my children,

If there is one thing that I taught you it is to be honest in your decisions as they pertain to yourselves and the earth in which you live.
