Dear Tomorrow,

Have things changed from my teenage years? Are electric cars owned by every person in society? Is the way we fuel our society more efficient and safe to the ecosystems that surround us? I wonder is Global Warming is a bigger deal in your present day than it was in mine. It seems as if today air pollution is most often bypassed and looked upon as something that is not important. I wonder how many species have gone extinct since 2020. I hope that from this point forward until 2050, people will try to improve the ways they get rid of waste and generate energy.

More Messages to the Future

For those who come after us,

This is for the countless children I already see suffering the impact of climate change around the world, and the generations to follow.

Dear Devon and Chloe

I hope that my work helping to make your schools more sustainable will be something you carry on as you grow older.

Loved One,

That we all have a role to play no matter how small, we all can make a difference.

Filha,

Saiba que enquanto eu tiver vida, minha voz não calará para alertar o mal que estamos fazendo agora para as nossas gerações futuras…

Dear My Future Child,

I want to sculpt a world for you where you can play outside without gas masks, an ocean to swim in without toxins, and a thick lively forest for you to wander.

Dear Finn and Cy,

I think a lot about what you might be like when you grow up and about what kind of world you will live in.

To my dear son Zac,

I promise to raise you as a loving-nature human.

My future husband,

I want us to read this in future time and remember all the senses and views we witnessed.

My Mini & Lou,

Since I first sat down with these words, a pandemic has erupted. Racial violence is reaching a fever pitch and protests are raging across the nation. It feels like the planet is succumbing to entropy, slipping further into chaos. But I write to you from a time of shifting tides.

Dear Tomorrow,

We want to let others know about how to fight climate crisis.

Dear Students,

My act of love will be to use all the power I have, during the rest of my life, to stop climate change.

Dear future love,

A culture of consumption is the reason that my world faces such an ecological crisis, it is both necessary and proper to address the fundamental mindsets that have created such a destructive culture.
