Dear Tomorrow,

Has the Global Climate change effect become irreversible yet. Hopefully by this time the world’s leaders have changed their states fo mind. Hopefully the problem is being solved, but it’s probably not. So I hope you make the best of your few years left with this earth and visit every beautiful corner of it. Have fun, but if you can still change, do IT!!!

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will encourage everyone to adopt a plant-based diet. Good for our health, the animals and the planet.

Dear Tomorrow,

No plastic straws, no water bottles, shop local, no meat.

Dear Annie and Eric,

I hope that this life of good things is not just yours to enjoy, but that you also have decided to fight for others to have this life, too.

Dear future love,

A culture of consumption is the reason that my world faces such an ecological crisis, it is both necessary and proper to address the fundamental mindsets that have created such a destructive culture.

To the generation after mine,

But when you encounter that resistance–and you will, regularly–know that you must respond just how we have had to these past 50 years. With love, and sternness, and most of all, courage. Because that is what the resistance fears the most. We who came before you promise that we will do the same while we wait for you. Know that you will never be alone.

Dear Future Generations,

I am sorry that you won’t be able to see some other animals such as polar bears, dolphins and whales.

Dear Children and Grandchildren,

I see a world full of hope fueled by the desire for change.

Dear Nephew,

I am going to start doing better to have a healthier planet for you to live on.

Dear Grandchildren — August and any others who were born after him

I joined millions of other people who wrote letters and made calls urging our leaders to do more to care for the planet.

To my daughter and son,

Surrounded by scientists who shared my fears and visions, I often had a hard time to accept that outside our small community climate change received marginal attention.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to buy organic food and run more and bike more! (I could use the exercise.)

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will do whatever I can to protect and preserve mother Earth for future generations.
