Dear People of Tomorrow,

2018 has been a year full of hurricanes and wildfires, and climate change denial. We have a president who despite a scientific study confirming it, still refuses to acknowledge climate change. The state of California was ravaged by massive wildfires, killing hundreds and causing billions of dollars in damage. Also, the massive fires are displacing huge amounts of carbon dust into the air, polluting the air and affecting our climate even more.

I hope that in the future, more than half of the cars on the road are electric, and if you are reading this in 2050, I hope that all cars and vehicles are using a source of energy that is clean and renewable. I hope the nation as a whole is no longer burning coal and fossil fuels, which are not only non-renewable, they are terrible for the environment. I hope that the future is much brighter than it is today. I hope that we are a unified nation that not only acknowledges climate change, but also combats it and has even even repaired the damage that our generation has caused.

Dear Future,

I asked you, the future , to help us as well, to preserve our only planet that can give us life, that can let us watch anime, go to the beach, smell flowers, run through the meadow, listen to our songs, be in a concert, and let us live.

Dear Tara,

Each of us only has so much power and the problem is HUGE, but I worked at this every day.
