Dear people in 2050,

We are in the year 2020, and the world is involved in Covid19. During this time, we see how much cleaner the earth had become than before the virus came into being. But we need to think better and more about the future to the generations after us. If we continue to produce waste, if we continue to provide air pollution, we will certainly not have a good future for our children. Just as a living being destroyed one day, the earth will one day become inaccessible to humans by doing wrong.

The selfishness of human beings has become a reason why the earth and animals cannot survive. Excessive, consumerist production of human beings is the reason why a beautiful part of the planet has destroyed every day.

In my opinion, the first step in being able to have a healthier and cleaner environment is to reduce too much plastic in our personal lives. Just by taking a simple look at your home environment, we can see how much plastic we are consuming. The use of plastic increases production. When the city needs more output, the need for raw materials increases, factories produce more greenhouse gases.

Only by reducing the production of plastic can we be able to do a lot to our surroundings. By reducing plastic production, we can help a lot with air and environmental pollution, direct boilers, etc. So why not create a healthy life for us and future generations?
I think if humans continue to produce too much, the world will be a dangerous place to live in the years to come. Many diseases occur, Unhealthy air for breathing, destruction of nature, and animals. It’s even painful to imagine how the world will be in 2050.

Together we make the world cleaner.
stay healthy and safe

More Messages to the Future

Dear Zhengqing Gao,

Fortunately, you didn’t get injured while the wildfire burned your school.

Dear future generations,

I pledge to you now that I will work tirelessly and with all my willpower so you don’t have to live in a world where you have to worry about the next storm.

Dear Tomorrow,

We only have 11 years left until the damage done by climate change is irreversible.

To my daughter,

The climate is quite dynamic these days. Dhaka has dust and warm in this spring.

Dear Lucy,

The clock ticks, time passes, and the earth and all of its inhabitants move closer to dangerous boundaries we can dimly discern but cannot see clearly.

Dear Devon and Chloe

I hope that my work helping to make your schools more sustainable will be something you carry on as you grow older.

Dear Future Grandchildren,

I hope I can look you in the eye and tell you I honestly did everything I could to protect our planet.

dear future people (:

I am writing this message to you guys. When I look outside my window today, I see a beautiful world that others and myself call “home sweet home.” The trees glimmering in warm sunlight, the air stirring a cool breeze, and the water flowing down rivers are parts of our home Mother Earth.

Anya,

All you can do is your best. You can encourage the same in others. You can admit your mistakes and those of your ancestors. You can learn from them, and help however you can. I’ll do the same. I promise.

Our Shared Promise

I will act today so you may have a healthy earth to live on.

To my wide-eyed warrioresses,

Since my two daughters emerged into this world, all of my tomorrows have become more dear.

For those who come after us,

This is for the countless children I already see suffering the impact of climate change around the world, and the generations to follow.
