Dear Mark,

I hope this message finds you well. I hope you are content and at peace. Most importantly I hope you continued to be a person of conscious and action. Remember how you started off small with the homestead, the chickens and ducks? I know you remember Garfunkel. I hope you have achieved your goal of spreading the ideas and goals of sustainability to others. First your immediate circle, then community and more. Did you build that permaculture farm? Did you build that net zero home? That net positive community? I hope you achieved all these goals, but if you didn’t yet, remember it’s never too late. Keep making progress and keep your head up.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to pick up trash at every beach I visit, use metal straws, take quick showers.

Dear girls,

I love you and I care deeply about your future.

Dear Donatella,

We ran through the woods laughing, crying, and living.

Olá minha querida filha Julia,

Muita Coragem e força para você enfrentar todos os desafios que virão, pois são com eles que crescemos.

Dear Ellie,

My heart is an ocean of love for all the children facing a life of climate catastrophe.

To my future children,

I am doing everything I can because I want the footprint that I leave behind to be my feet in the sand on a beach and not a carbon one.

Dear Tomorrow,

My promise is to continue to dedicate my life, my business, and my future to creating cultures that embrace environmental action not only for our own good, but the good of the countless other species hurting from climate change.

Dear Tomorrow,

My climate promise is to stop using electricity too much.

To My Dear Grandchildren,

Be assured that in the upcoming election, I will cast my vote for your future – for elected officials that recognize climate risks and are willing to promote and vote for legislation that will stop environmental damage and begin to heal our planet.

Dear Grown up Alton and Dot,

The most important thing in my life is you, which means that as your mom – I am doing my very best to make sure that when you read this letter, Earth is a cleaner and safer place for you and your children.

Dear Tara,

I am sitting in a classroom thinking about you. Which is rare for me. I hope that our family has taken some initiative to do something about changing society instead of building robots and large houses.

Dear Tomorrow,

We want to let others know about how to fight climate crisis.
