Dear liz,

Hello! this is the you from 2019, spare me the details about your personal life because then we’ll have a VERY long letter. I made a silent promise liz, i’m going to help preserve the enviroment. Its a serious matter that i want to be responsible for, climate changes are real and they are hapening so quickly that maybe by 2050 you are already feeling the effects. I want to dedicate my life for our planet liz, i am going to help reverse this situation. I promise i will ensure your safety and the safety of your children. I have something i need to do in this planet, i know i do, everybody does actually, its screaming my name but i just cant find it yet. Ill find it, ill find that “something” to do, and, above all, i will do my best to make sure global warming, rainforest burn, illegal hunting, advanced agroculture, fossil fuel funding, among others, decrease in a level that the earth and human kind can keep on surviving. ( i am sorry for my badish english and i hope you are healthy and living in a stable enviroment) I love you Liz, i really want to write about soo many things but this is the most important of them all. I want you to be safe and healthy and im going to make it happen!

More Messages to the Future

To My Future Nephews,

I want you to see those corn fields in the north, the beautiful beaches down in Florida, and the stars in the woods at night.

Dear Tomorrow,

Don’t use plastic straws!

Dear Tomorrow,

This is just the beginning. It’s the accrual of little seeds of change that will lead to the tree of revolution.

Dear Nephew,

I believe i have truly played my part in raising awareness and practical solutions to climate change.

To My Children,

Is the world really polluted?

Dear future generations,

My hope for you is that you can have equal experiences with nature that I was able to have with my dad.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will eat vegan, organic, locally grown, and seasonal.

To my daughters,

In order for you two be happy and healthy, we all need to work hard to prevent climate change.

Dear future generations,

It’s never too late to make a difference. Our actions have very real consequences. We can educate ourselves, learn from our mistakes, and take action. We can hold companies like big oil and big plastic accountable for their negative impacts on the environment. We can educate ourselves and others about what causes climate change and what actions we as individuals can take to lower our carbon footprints.

Dear You Tomorrow,

What we failed to do, at least early on, was to see how important it was to put those solutions together. To combine into a way forward.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to pick up trash at every beach I visit, use metal straws, take quick showers.
