Dear Hannah,

It is hard to imagine a life outside of the technology and society we as humans have given ourselves. What you may not be aware of, is that humankind is slowly killing the Earth, and creating irreversible climate change. Rainforests are now desserts, there is an abundance of carbon our planet can’t handle, and we are endangering every species we read about in children’s books. I hope your generation and mine are practicing more sustainable way to eat, transport, and produce products. We have to uphold our promise to the Earth and our community that we will do better. We are a part of nature, so we have to save nature to save us.
