Dear future self, dear me,

I took the pledge subliminally to create a project that can create a sustainable structure and prove to reduce the greenhouse gases that are destroying our world now. If I succeeded I want you to keep fighting for it and make it happen. I am 22 years old now. This may be my only chance to save you or to save the planet. And after the succession of this propaganda, I want you to help others fighting for the same rights to save the planet. I hope you will succeed.

More Messages to the Future

Dear people of The Future,

Thank you for reading. Do your part to save the globe.

Dear Llewyn, beloved grandson …

I can only say that I devoted myself to doing as much as I could to make it better, to provide for a just transition, and to fight those forces that continued to exploit the Eaarth with extractive methods, methods that always also included oppressing some people–because those doing the oppression believed that they were better and deserved more.

To the People in my Future Life,

Anytime I’m at the crossroads of life, I pray that I, or anyone else in the same position, will keep you in mind, and try to shape a world that’s the best possible for you.

Dear Eleanor,

It seems silly to saddle yourself with guilt for something that hasn’t happened yet. I don’t want to do that. As of today, I don’t really feel guilty. I guess I just want to make sure I keep doing more, so that when you read this, and ask what I’ve done since then, I can still feel good about my efforts.

I promise to take shorter showers.

My dear Honeys,

I think every parent believes that their child’s future is worth protecting – because I know the power of this force in me and what I am willing to do.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will do whatever I can to protect and preserve mother Earth for future generations.

Dear Tomorrow,

Don’t use plastic straws!

Dear Tomorrow,

I will opt up to deep green

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to try to set up crowd funding for grants to people with realistic proposals to fight climate change.

Dear Donatella,

We ran through the woods laughing, crying, and living.

Dear Maya, Emilio and Daniel,

We thought that the world was an endless supply of whatever we wanted… I know it sounds hard to believe, but that is the way it was.
