Dear future readers,

You must be somewhat amused to learn of this strange cult of climate change that had so many people in its grip back in the early 21st century. I post just to testify that not everyone was sucked into the craziness. By your time I imagine you have much more advanced sources of energy, maybe fusion power, maybe something else. I’m also pretty sure that your world will be just fine and won’t have succumbed to some of the doomsday scenarios the loonies of our own age predict. By the time you read this, I may well be dead, but I wish you all well for a bright future.

More Messages to the Future

To My Future Children,

I hope by 2050, our society has taken initiative to be producing energy solely through renewable sources.

Dear Tomorrow

I will become the change I wish to see in the world.

Paz e bem

Vivamos a vida com intensidade, Não nos importando a localidade.

Dear Maddie,

Please know that I have tried very hard to be one of those people, to even make the smallest of changes in order to improve the world for you and your future.

Dear Future Me: Only open after March 4th, 2050

I don’t regret my past ventures, nor do I believe I will regret my future ventures, but I’ve learned that I’ve needed to manifest these experiences into actions of sustainable development and conservation and protection of our environment.

Dear Kids,

My mistake was thinking I needed to give you more to be a good Mom. Recently your aunt asked me what my favorite toy was growing up. I gulped, I didn’t have one- it was the outdoors, sliding down a ravine of leaves with my Dad, skiing and camping. Today is October 12th, 2021 and I am still going to be giving you a lot, it’s going to look a little different – love, experiences, education and a healthy planet.

Greetings 2050 earthling,

Starting in 2015 I committed my life to sustainability.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will encourage everyone to get OUT of their cars and onto public transit.

I pledge to take the bus.

Dear Tomorrow,

I will do my part to help ensure that there is an Earth left when we are done borrowing it.

Dear Donatella,

We ran through the woods laughing, crying, and living.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to drive less and walk more.
