Dear Future Generations,

I hope what we are currently doing to the planet has not affected your way of life and that climate change is being acknowledged. Hopefully, all the beautiful aspects of nature are available to you and not in your textbooks. By the time you get this, California fires will hopefully not be a yearly scare. Finally, I hope nobody is being judged by the color their skin, sexual orientation or religion but by judged by the content of their character.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

My climate promise is to use a refillable bottle, bring my own resusable spoon/form wherever I go, use clean personal care products (without chemicals).

Dear future love,

A culture of consumption is the reason that my world faces such an ecological crisis, it is both necessary and proper to address the fundamental mindsets that have created such a destructive culture.

Dear fantastic,

We as the human race are smarter than this struggle at hand and need to rise above large corporate interests and confusion on this topic.

Dear Donatella,

We ran through the woods laughing, crying, and living.

My dearest children Ameilia and Alivia,

I want you to hear the whispers of the seasons changing. The rustling of leaves as they gracefully cascade down from their limbs in the fall, birds singing in spring, and frogs that serenade the summer night.

Minhas lindas,

As causas das mudanças no clima são tão profundas e envolvem tanta gente e tantos lugares.

I promise to help people! Become more aware!

To my children – Chase, Maya and Harlan

I hope that we manage to change the system really soon, while there is still time. So that you are not left with the mess, and trying to fix something that you didn’t cause. I hope we figured out a way to be kind, and caring for others who will suffer more than us. A way to let go of the greed and look at ways we can help others rather than take from them.

Dear Gabriel,

One day ten or twenty years from now, when you look back from the future, you will be able to clearly see the entire path.

Dear Great Grandchildren,

If you are reading this, you probably inherited my fascination with ancestry, and the way it uncovers incredible stories of unlikely survival.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to work with my family and neighbors to reduce carbon output.

Dear Future Generations,
