Dear Future Generation,

Climate change today, in 2018 could be better, all my concerns is that people are not protecting the environment. In 2018, we are failing to drive efficient cars, and landfills are overflowing with trash. I promise to recycle more and reduce my carbon footprint by buying local and choosing smarter options to get around from place to place. So the future generation, my kids and grandchildren, I hope that, you can still take in the air safely.

More Messages to the Future

Queridos filhos Heloísa e Henzo,

Tenho muito orgulho da minha função (agente de fiscalização ambiental do Acre) pois é através dela que posso dar um pouco do meu suor, para que no futuro ambos possam ter um lugar melhor para viver.

Dear X—, Dear A—,

As with our struggles to eliminate police brutality, as with hate crimes, so it is with climate change – there are actually a lot of people out there who care.

Our Shared Promise

I will act today so you may have a healthy earth to live on.

To my precious children

I want clean air, clean energy and muddy feet for you. I want this for all children.

To my grandchildren,

Ahora vivo en la ciudad de México y cuando debe de llover no llueve… cuando hace calor de verdad hace calor.

Dear son,

Everyone should be grow at least 100 trees in his lifetime.

My darling Cassidy,

I know I need to write this to you, and I don’t want to because it makes me so sad. I have been desperately avoiding my feelings about climate change, for many years, but especially and with greater intensity every year since you were born.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to contact my local officials on passing measures against climate change

To all the people here on earth,

Who knows what the future would look like? or what will happened in the future? No one knows right? That’s why it it’s scary because we don’t know what lies ahead. We couldn’t stop the future but we can always change it.

Dear Chay and Kate,

Don’t ever let anyone tell you your actions don’t matter. Every single thing you do matters. You matter.

Dear fellow human,

May my tomorrow include more attention to these details so that you know that I do care.

Dear Tomorrow,

I’m not allowed to talk about climate change around family; as my mom warned me, “climate change is not something that people think about in Mississippi.” But I’m worried for my family’s future.
