Dear Future Child,

I hope to have accomplished many things in relation at helping climate change. I want to do all I can to eliminate the use of plastic water bottles and plastic bags. I hope that our planet is not going to be destroyed and in rubble due to the poor thoughts of others. I will continue to promote good habits towards our environment and I hope you will also take on this task within your lifetime.

More Messages to the Future

To what we’ve overcome.

The first step would be in overcoming ourselves. Because whether we end up fading into obscurity, or thriving in prosperity, we will overcome ourselves.

To My Grandchildren,

It’s my hope that the following will be helpful as you navigate your futures.  These are the confessions of a climate activist:

Dear Abigail and Olivia,

What stories will you tell them about our generation? Will we be heroes or villains?

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I’ll replace our lights with LED lights.

Dear Future Me: Only open after March 4th, 2050

I don’t regret my past ventures, nor do I believe I will regret my future ventures, but I’ve learned that I’ve needed to manifest these experiences into actions of sustainable development and conservation and protection of our environment.

Dear Future Sami Lee,

Everyone currently in life laughs and yells save the bees. We were a bee this year for Halloween and Lucy even came up with a great slogan “get with it honey”.

Dear residents of Bedminster, Bristol UK,

We hope we did enough

Dear Tomorrow,

My climate promise is to stop using electricity too much.

Olá minha querida filha Julia,

Muita Coragem e força para você enfrentar todos os desafios que virão, pois são com eles que crescemos.

Dear Me of 2050,

I promise that I will plant more trees in places where there are none.

My grandchildren,

I promise to do my very best to educate your parents as best I can.

Dear Gabriel,

When the worst consequences of climate change still feel far away today, or the barriers to acting on climate change seem steep today, I do not think about today. I think about you, and your world when you are my age.
