Dear everyone,

By the time 2050 rooms around I will be feeding some trees or flowers somewhere on the earth.  I do ‘t have time left to wait for actions leading to 2050!  I want changes now!  Right now, I work in my home to recycle, compost, reuse, up cycle and drive less.  I can only do so much at this stage.  But I have cut flying from my agenda for now at least.

I grow some veggies in my backyard and share with friends…no poisons allowed!

I want to do more, like getting rid of my oil burning furnace but $$$ are needed.  Maybe in the future?

I commit to participating more in local initiatives…seems small I know.  Good luck to you all.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Nafia,

I also hope that your previous prayers have been answered. The way you wanted to create green jobs for your fellow city dwellers have been fulfilled already.

Rachel and Noelle,

I hope in a small way this helps your world.

Dear Grandchildren,

I hope we can pass on a better place to live so that my grandchildren and their future children can enjoy the beauty of nature that our wonderful God has given us.

Annalu minha filha amada,

Espero de coração que, no futuro, você possa olhar para trás e se orgulhar muito dos pais que teve.

Dear My Future Child,

I want to sculpt a world for you where you can play outside without gas masks, an ocean to swim in without toxins, and a thick lively forest for you to wander.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise I will do everything I can to help fight against climate change.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to stop using a plastic straw.

Dear grandchild,

There is a place on this planet called the Amazon, and I don’t mean the online shopping site (is that still a thing in your time?).

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to include the trees and animals in all my decisions.

Dear Tristan,

I am doing this to protect you, the food, water, air and biodiversity of a country that I love.

Dear Devon and Chloe

I hope that my work helping to make your schools more sustainable will be something you carry on as you grow older.

Dear June and Colin,

I’m sad and angry that collectively more has not been done to this date. And that still with such dire warnings, obvious impacts, those in power are acting far too slowly.
