dear children of the future,

I am sorry that this is what it has come to. It is not fair that you will be living through the pain, chaos, and destruction that human ignorance, greed, and desire for power have caused. Know that you are stronger than you think and that millions of people before you have stood to make a change so that you can continue the work. You are not alone.

This is our house.

To my daughter and her children,

As a minister, I have preached that we are here to be of service to others and to be care takers of this wonderful planet that God has given us.

The environment is important – take care of your actions to not destroy it starting from now.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to contact my local officials on passing measures against climate change

Queridas filhas Ana Luísa e Ana Carla,

Que vocês possam contar para seus filhos e netos que minha geração tomou consciência de sua responsabilidade e assumiu sua condição de natureza e a ela se reintegrou, com inteligência, interação respeitosa e solidariedade.

My dear Honeys,

I think every parent believes that their child’s future is worth protecting – because I know the power of this force in me and what I am willing to do.

Dear Future Family,

As I’m sitting here trying to think of the best words to say to you all, I am thinking of one major thing: that I can only hope that you all get to experience the incredible beauty created by our planet.

Dear James,

More importantly, what are we doing to better our planet and everyone who lives in it?
