Dear Angela,

I promise that I will do everything in my power to have a positive impact on the climate and our earth. I think a large majority of the generation before us were too busy with other historical achievements and events (like women gaining the right to vote and WWII) that the idea of saving our earth wasn’t even in mindset. I believe that saving the earth and all of the oceans and land around us can be our shining moment as a generation. Remember to always recycle, reduce plastic waste, reuse your coffee cup, anything you can do will have such a huge impact on saving our earth.

Dear Tanuj,

The time has come to question ourselves as citizens about our own actions and the legacy we are leaving behind.

Dear tomorrow,

If there’s one thing young people have learned while quarantining, it’s that Gen Z holds so much power and is capable of a lot more than we think. We’ve created a community that has united us all and started to bring about change for the good of our futures. Now, with the help of Gen Z (and of course, people of all ages), we have the power to save our home, the Earth.

I pledge to take the bus.

Queridos nietas/nietos,

Creo que debo hacer más. Por ello, he decidido escribir esta breve carta para empezar un proceso en el que vaya escribiendo más cartas, conforme vaya teniendo más claridad de mis posibles contribuciones.

Pick up your trash wherever you go!

Dear Owen and Vivian,

Here’s the biggest secret: I KNOW it will have. We may not realize how, but we have changed the world.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ride more and drive less.

My Mini & Lou,

Since I first sat down with these words, a pandemic has erupted. Racial violence is reaching a fever pitch and protests are raging across the nation. It feels like the planet is succumbing to entropy, slipping further into chaos. But I write to you from a time of shifting tides.
