Dear AIESECers,

Hey AIESEC!???!!! I imagine by now this organisation is sensationally huge all over the world and incredible source of creating new leaders who are value-driven and who cares about our planet enough to ACT upon it even after leaving AIESEC!

Right now, I really aware of my footprint and what our and the previous generation were doing to endanger our home, planet Earth.. I can not even believe that so far I wasn’t even paying any attention not even talking about to take actions, right?

I am committed to change my eating habits and my buying behaviors… I am already doing it in 2 months so at the moment very optimistic.. And planning to do more: change my main mean of transportation to a bike, to settle down in a less environment polluting country like Togo, or Benin, or anywhere basically around West Africa and leave the so called Western Civilization where they make me became a human who is so extremely distant from nature. Also planning to take more actions around the awareness of climate change and have a social business on this topic!

My main barrier holding me back is fear about it will cost more: energy, money or time.. to change it is never easy, but it is not impossible!

I have no choice to do an other way.. If I don’t do who will do? I can be inspiration to others around me, so let us start somewhere.. that place should be inside you! That is all! Make a decision!

AIESEC was continuously pushing me to understand my role as a leader: it starts with setting examples! I cannot want to do the same things and expect a different result… I want to make and I will make this world better for my children!

In the next 5 years or even 3 I am going to open my social business in West Africa dealing with social issues and climate change! I have already started to save up money to make this happen, and also build my network around here!

I could not be more happy that I live in a generation of this modern age where there are so many opportunities to make our lives better and now as I awaken I know there our many more opportunities to not just be selfish but to make the world a better place! I care about SDGs, AIESEC recently start to align on SDGs too.. I will keep continue to collaborate with AIESEC as an entrepreneur for ever!

Keep the right values and fight every day more to leave no or minimized footprints on earth! It is possible to live in peace with all others: animals, religions, people and mother nature!

All my love,
Kriszti
