I have to tell you something: it is so hard to keep our life “green” for now, but we still keep trying.

To my Maria and her children,

Hello, my darling. If you are reading this letter, I suppose, it’s too late. It’s too late right now, in 2017. Unfortunately, some scientists are paid to tell there is no global warming. However, you still have to remember that you are the member of global family and you are personally responsible for the future. I hope it’s the time people finally have realised the weight of “green” lifestyle.

I have to tell you something: it is so hard to keep our life “green” for now, but we still keep trying. We have no money to invest into renewable energy, we don’t even have enough money for food. Although, it is not a reason to stop. We still keep gardening. We grow onion, greens, cabbage, watermelons and pumpkins every year. We use baking soda in cleaning up the house. We make the carpets from the plastic bags and so on and on…

You have to keep in your mind the idea that you have millions of chances to save the planet. And you are a member of society. Even if you are not a leader for all of humanity, you are still part of your family, and you have to serve as an example: grow trees, recycle, live environmentally friendly!

You are not able to change the world, but you can change yourself. Keep on trying, you’re not alone. I am watching you!

Dear Tomorrow,

And, if this summer has taught me anything, I am content (because I have to be) living in this limbo, this seemingly endless waiting for the opportunity to change, when really the opportunity exists within our very selves all along.
