Dear Tara,

I want you to know that while much of the world twiddled its thumbs and scratched its pointy head about whether humans could really have an impact on the climate, I was working every day to make your future life a little bit easier. Each of us only has so much power and the problem is HUGE, but I worked at this every day. I say this not to blow my own little horn but to convince you of how deep my love is for you and those who will share your world when I am but a memory.
