DearTomorrow,

What will our future generation face if we keep harming our planet? How are they going to seek happiness if their world is encompassed by pollution and abnormal climate change?

Dear youngsters,

How’s the weather today? I hope it is a sunny day, with the air fresh and aromatic, full of the exuberance and cheerfulness of spring. Also, how are you?

In my world, to be precise, in 2017, our earth is undergoing great danger. The smog blinds the blue sky of my city, the winter is strangely warm, and earthquakes shake people’s confidence on a safe living environment. After watching Mr. DiCaprio’s film Before the Flood (2016), worry and fears grasp my mind. What will our future generation face if we keep harming our planet? How are they going to seek happiness if their world is encompassed by pollution and abnormal climate change? Dear youngsters, I hope when you see these questions, you can tell me that your sky is clear and azure, your sea is clean and sapphire, and your air is pure and fresh.

You are the savior of your own life. Your planet as well, of course. To save our earth, I am doing the following simple things, which can greatly improve our life if you join, too:

  1. Adopt a vegetarian diet.
  2. Sort out kitchen waste from trash.
  3. Buy what you NEED instead of what you WANT.
  4. Buy as fewer imported products as possible.
  5. Share the message of loving our earth by ACTION.

Be brave, my dear youngsters. If your earth is clean and safe, congratulations and keep protecting her. If your earth is like mine, or worse, start saving her at this moment! You are full of strength and possibilities. Your one step can contribute to a larger step of all beings in the world. Be brave and reflect: what does the world mean to me? Do I want to live in a clean, beautiful world or in a damaged, decaying one?

Best wishes and may your heart find the right direction!
