Dear People of 2030, 2050,

It is 2017 and we have destroyed our planet. Climate change has caused some irreversible damages. Our forests are diminishing, our sea levels are rising and washing away land, and we’re losing ecosystems that are home to magnificent creatures that may not last for long. However, I promise to do my best to raise awareness and do whatever I can in order to turn this path around and fix the world for a better life for you, your friends, and family. Hopefully my activism will result in the promise for a safe and clean Earth for you to live on and grow into a strong, smart individual.

More Messages to the Future

Dear Tomorrow,

I have solar and will be getting an electric car next week

Dear Earth,

I will keep the air clean so everyone can see the sunset.

I want to tell you a story. Yes, another one.

Mankind has always been able to deal with the greatest challenges it’s faced and this will not be the exception. My message to you is: find that passion and give it your all. ‘Till your legs give out.

To earth & its inhabitants,

Its been heavy on my shoulders since I found out about the state of climate woes as a child.

Dear Daughter,

I want you to be prepared for the world that the generations before you are creating for you. I love you Lucienne, and I will not give up. I will push you and teach you not to give up, either, even if others around you do.

To My Dear Children, Jackson Carlo and Stella Jane,

I am a better person because of you, and I want the world to be a better place for you.

To my precious children,

As you’ve grown older, I’ve become increasingly aware that protecting you means more than ensuring your short-term safety. It also means ensuring that you’ll have a safe planet to live on.

Dear future me,

I’m doing this work because I see it as the best way to save and improve as many lives as possible. I’m doing it so you, 2050 Ryan, can look at yourself in the mirror. And so you can tell your kids and grandkids someday that you did everything you could.

To my great-great grandchildren,

I don’t know your name
or even if you’re alive,
but I’m doing all I can
to make sure you survive.

I’m your great- great grandmother
who lived a century ago
in a world far different
from the one you must know.

I promise to plant more flowers.

Dear Tomorrow,

I promise to ride more and drive less.

Dear Tomorrow-My letter to the future 2030

I am most sorry we could not work through our differences, and see through the greed, get organized, and do more so that you could have a better life in your 2030 future.
